Oregon is the epicenter of the truffle world in North America. In fostering a dynamic scientific community in Oregon and collaborating with our colleagues from around the world, the Oregon Truffle Festival has been a leader in research and advocacy for a burgeoning truffle industry. As we’ve seen in the highly valued agricultural and agritourism regions in Europe, in building an internationally recognized truffle and wine country destination, the Oregon truffle industry has created jobs and economic stimulus – with much more growth to come.
