Truffle Farming A – Z is a two-day gathering designed for both prospective and established truffle growers that includes lectures, comprehensive case studies, and a day in the field touring established orchards.
Led by Dr. Charles Lefevre of New World Truffieres, who studied with some of the world’s most renowned truffle scientists at OSU, this forum also welcomes experts in all aspects of truffle farming, and is co-hosted by Dr. Shannon Berch, a mycologist and truffle researcher for the Government of British Columbia. Day 1 will be taught in the Founder’s Room at Willamette Valley Vineyards in Turner, and includes a continental breakfast, a catered truffle luncheon, and a reception with WVV wines and truffle bites following the lecture series. Day 2 will be in the field at a truffle orchard, and includes a catered truffle luncheon and an afternoon wrap-up Q & A.
