Watch all sorts of dogs compete in The Joriad™ North American Truffle Dog Championship, the only competition of its kind in North America.

The 2026 Festival continues the tradition of opening at the height of Oregon’s native truffle season with The Joriad™ North American Truffle Dog Championship. Truffle dog friends and fans come to cheer for the dogs and their trainers as they compete to find hidden truffle-scented targets. From Chihuahuas to Lagotto Romagnolos, dogs of all breeds are invited to compete in The Joriad™, which is an amateur championship event. The Joriad’s first round welcomes spectators at the Lane County Fairgrounds in the morning, and the top five dogs go on to compete in a second and final round in the field which is not open to the public.

Please note: No dogs except those entered in the competition are allowed in the venue.
