Kristina Leipzig


Kristina Leipzig has worked with dogs in various sports and training since 2002. Raising for Guide Dogs for the Blind and training her my own fur balls in Agility, Rally-O, Obedience, Herding, Schutzhund, Tracking, Dockdogs, and K9 Nose Work®. She has dabbled in most dog sports with multiple dogs. Along with raising service dogs and helping others train their dogs along with training a working Medical Alert Dog. Kristina feels lucky that she able to combine my passion and profession. Kristina is owned by two German Shepherds Kuma and Terra. Past owned breeds have been other GSDs, Terrier mix, Schnauzer, Shiba Inu, Beagle mix, and Siberian Huskies.

Kristina started truffle hunting by attending the Oregon Truffle Festival Dog training with Kuma and has been the Lead Organizer of the Joriad for the last three years. Currently she teaches truffle classes, hosts training forays, and conducts land surveys for people. She is also a Certified Nose Work Instruction and training K9 Nose Work® since 2011. Along with teaching 10-15 classes per week she also attends competitions and seminars throughout the nation to gain as much knowledge as she can. Scent work is all about experience and the the wonderful community.
