Joel Palmer House

As a fourth generation restaurateur and chef, Chef Christopher Czarnecki carries on a family legacy at the celebrated Joel Palmer House restaurant. After returning from a tour of service in 2006, Czarnecki was approached by his father to manage the Dayton, Oregon restaurant. Thanks to his experience in the Army, Czarnecki had cooked in kitchens in Germany, France, Oregon, and Iraq and brings this international experience to the plate. Czarnecki took over management of Joel Palmer House officially in 2008 and continues in his family’s rich traditions, preparing famed dishes with fresh-foraged mushrooms.
