Trained truffle dogs are essential to a healthy and quality-driven truffle industry. In 2015, the Oregon Truffle Festival introduced an amateur competition to drive interest. Now, dogs of all sizes compete in this annual competition, the only one of its kind in North America. 

Hosted at Eugene’s Lane County Fairgrounds, tickets to the Joriad, named after Oregon’s state soil, can now be purchased only at the door!
