Darrel Kau

Currently Executive Director for Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, Darrel oversees fundraising for Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. Prior to that he was he Development Director for Food For Lane County where he helped double the capacity of the organization and build an additional warehouse facility; was the Director of the Cultural Forum at the University of Oregon where he worked with students to design and produce more than a 60 events of all sizes and kinds every year; and served as the Program Director for the Hult Center for the Performing Arts. He spent 17 years as an adjunct professor teaching marketing and production design in Arts Management at the U of O, and co-taught Event Management with OTF GM Leslie Scott in that department for 7 years. We can testify that he happens to be one of the best home chefs ever, and is currently baking his way through Beth Hensperger’s The Bread Bible.
