Truffle Farming A – Z All-In Weekend

Date: January 24, 25 & 26, 2020

The inaugural Truffle Farming A – Z All-In Weekend is an educational, two-day immersion on Friday, January 24th and Saturday, January 25th designed for new or prospective truffle growers. Friday lectures and comprehensive case studies will cover site evaluation, orchard planning, site preparation, planting, weed control, pest control, pruning, harvesting and more. Saturday takes students into the field, touring established orchards, including one of the most productive in North America, with trained truffle dogs. The Truffle Farming A – Z Package also includes plenty of opportunities to taste both wild and cultivated truffles at breakfasts, lunches and Friday and Saturday dinners, including a decadent winery luncheon and The Grand Truffle Dinner. The All-In Package closes with two Sunday events: a truffle brunch and the Oregon Fresh Truffle Marketplace.

Because the launch of this short course represents a substantial undertaking, we’re putting the Truffle Growers’ Forum on hiatus with the expectation of re-launching that industry gathering as the natural complement for Truffle Farming A-Z.
