Mercato del Tartufo at Marché Provisions
A Taste of Italy in Eugene–come evening, Venice is full of cicchetti bars serving spritzes and bar snacks, and friends connecting over great food and drink. It’s become a Friday night tradition at Provisions Market Hall, too–so we’ll begin the truffle weekend with some big fun, Italian-style, and small plates of all kinds of delicious food from Marché Chef Rocky Maselli. Cicchetti, hearth-oven pizza, sweets, and libations surrounded by the bustling Market Hall.
Urban Winery Adventure
2019’s Urban Forager excursion features three very unique culinary experiences. We begin at Mountain Rose Herbs, where the company’s founder will give you a tour of their extraordinary production facility, and you’ll enjoy tastes of warm herbal teas with truffled pastries. Urban Foragers will then visit J. Scott Cellars urban winery to taste 3 unusual Oregon varietals winemaker Jonathan Oberlander has foraged from around the state for his unique urban wine project. you’ll be winemaker for a day as Jonathan guides you through the science and art of blending to create your own unique cuvée to pair with Oregon truffles dishes for the ultimate tasting/pairing experience. Viking Braggot Company will also treat us to authentic braggot mead on this stop. Your final stop will be Eugene’s iconic 5th Street Public Market where you’ll join Marché & Provisions Pastry Chef Amy Mirate and her team for a truffle-scented dessert demo, with tips on how to bring out the decadent best in foraged ingredients and a dessert reception at Marché.
Grand Truffle Dinner 2019
300 guests will join us for an evening of conviviality around the table, as we present our 14th Grand Truffle Dinner featuring Oregon’s native winter white and black truffles in a sumptuous six-course meal paired with magnificent Oregon wines. Considered by many to be the pièce de résistance of the weekend, the 2019 Grand Truffle Dinner features six celebrated and nationally recognized guest chefs known for their love of fresh, seasonal ingredients, and their skill and creativity with Oregon truffles.

The signature Fresh Truffle Marketplace is a unique tasting and demonstration experience that brings together fresh ripe Oregon truffles, regional wines, artisan foods, and craft products and services related to the burgeoning regional truffle industry as well as our local farm and forest to table bounty. OTF’s Marketplace offers fresh native truffles for sale, wine tasting, artisan food sampling and sales, truffle cooking demonstrations with tasting and recipes, a truffle dog demonstration and an all day lecture series to ensure a complete experience with the glorious Oregon native truffles.
