Fruit and Earth: A Taste of Place
The opening act of the 2019 Yamhill Valley weekend takes us on an exploration of the shared terroir of Oregon wine and truffles, featuring 5 wines from Willamette Valley AVAs. Each wine will be carefully paired with truffle bites that complement curated wines from Willamette Valley Vineyards. Your experience will be guided by 4 celebrated professionals: Maxine Borcherding, Sommelier and teaching chef and wine expert moderates the interactive discussion. She is joined by James Beard award winning chef Cory Schreiber, WVV wine maker Joe Ibrahim, and truffle scientist and festival founder Dr. Charles Lefevre.

The Terroir of Truffles weekend package holders will experience an authentic truffle hunt lead by professional truffle hunters with their dogs, followed by an unforgettable luncheon featuring top culinary talent and foraged Oregon truffles. Held at unique Oregon venues, this is wine country immersion and winter truffle excursion at its most authentic. Celebrating Beard’s Legacy: An elegant, luxurious dinner with James Beard honored chefs
Following the Rosé release, guests will move upstairs to the gracious Clubhouse dining room for a four course dinner created especially for the evening by James Beard honored chefs, and featuring Oregon truffles carefully paired with Domaine Serene’s award winning wines.

OTF’s signature Fresh Truffle Marketplace is a unique tasting and demonstration experience that brings together fresh ripe Oregon truffles, regional wines, artisan foods, and craft products and services related to the vibrant regional truffle industry as well as our local farm and forest to table bounty. OTF’s Marketplace offers fresh native truffles for sale, wine, beer and spirits tasting, artisan food sampling and sales, truffle cooking demonstrations with tasting and recipes, and a truffle dog demonstration to ensure a complete experience with Oregon’s native truffles.
